M4M congratulates Nirali Chakraborty in her new role as Chief Strategy Officer

3 May 2023, Baltimore – Metrics for Management is thrilled to announce that Dr. Nirali Chakraborty has been promoted to the new role of Chief Strategy Officer. Nirali has been a key member of the M4M team, serving as the Director of Research and Technical Assistance since 2016. In her new position, which started 2 May 2023, Nirali will take on additional responsibilities to advance organization-wide strategy for the creation and use of measures of health systems performance.
With over 10 years’ experience in the research and health sector, Nirali brings a wealth of knowledge to the role. In her new position, she will be identifying projects and strategic opportunities to expand M4M’s work and collaborations to develop user-friendly performance measures to improve health.

Prior to joining M4M, Nirali worked with organizations including Population Services International, The World Bank, and Broad Branch Associates. She has conducted research and published articles on social franchising, health equity, health workforce performance and reproductive and maternal health. Nirali received her PhD in International Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and is fluent in English and French, and proficient in three Indian sub-continent languages.
